The design process is something that can be done on paper, don't restrict yourself to just one design, large companies review hundreds of designs before selecting a new logo. We don't need to create hundreds of designs, only 3.

Once you have 3 distinctly different designs on paper, we will be using Microsoft Paint to take that design from paper and put it into the computer. To open Microsoft Paint go to:

• Start > All Programs > Accessories > Paint

Once we have opened Paint you can start using the tools on the left side of the screen to create your logo. Once your done we will need to save the file. To do this click

• File > Save As

• Filename: logo

• Save As Type: JPEG

Your screen should look similar to what is below.

Congratulations, you have created your first logo. Repeat these steps to create as many designs as you would like (minimum 3)
